Accelerando is an idea generator and think tank focused on formulating IT solutions for the future. We are bringing the ideas from brain storm sessions to a structured format similar to that of patent application. The most promising of these ideas are then nurtured and developed further – formulating business cases and possibly basic functionality demos. At this stage investors are contacted. Accelerando is not to develop the ideas into deployable state, but instead be just an advanced idea generator. The aim of Accelerando is to have fun while finding and defining the IT technologies and solutions for the future.
The areas of IT where the idea generation is focused vary over time, but with the background of the Accelerando partners this often includes end user applications and sensing.
